Jasmine Lundberg’s Journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism

At AcuClinic Cyprus Ltd, we believe that learning never truly ends. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a vast and fascinating tradition, and the more we learn, the more we understand how many different aspects of health can be viewed as part of a greater whole.
For this reason, we are delighted to share that Jasmine Lundberg, Homeopath at AcuClinic Cyprus, is currently undertaking further education in Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism.
Her studies represent another step in her continuing professional development and reflect our commitment at AcuClinic Cyprus to continually expanding our knowledge while maintaining a thoughtful and responsible approach to complementary wellbeing.
A New Chapter in Jasmine’s Professional Journey
Jasmine has already developed her professional practice around classical homeopathy, with an emphasis on an individualised approach and understanding each person as an individual.
Her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism grew naturally from her broader interest in natural approaches to health and the traditional understanding of the relationship between the body, lifestyle, environment and wellbeing.
Studying Chinese herbalism opens the door to another fascinating traditional system of health.
Rather than viewing health simply in terms of individual symptoms, Traditional Chinese Medicine traditionally considers patterns within the body and how different aspects of a person's constitution, lifestyle and environment may interact.
For Jasmine, learning about this traditional approach provides an opportunity to deepen her understanding of complementary medicine and explore another rich therapeutic tradition.
What Is Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism?
Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism, often referred to as Chinese herbal medicine, is one of the major branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
For centuries, practitioners of TCM have used combinations of herbs and other natural substances within a broader traditional framework. Rather than selecting an individual herb simply because it is associated with a particular symptom, traditional Chinese herbal practice considers the individual and the overall pattern being observed. This is one of the aspects that makes TCM particularly interesting from a holistic perspective.
The same symptom may appear in different people for different underlying reasons, and traditional TCM approaches therefore emphasise individual assessment rather than relying solely on a one-size-fits-all solution. Jasmine's current studies are allowing her to explore these principles in greater depth.
Learning Before Practising
One of the most important principles of professional development is understanding that education takes time.
Jasmine is currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism and has not yet completed her training. She is approaching this new field with the same care and respect that she brings to her existing professional work.
Her goal is not simply to learn the names and traditional uses of individual herbs. The study of Chinese herbal medicine involves a much broader understanding of traditional theory, herbal properties, combinations, patterns and individual considerations. This requires patience, careful study and continued learning.
Jasmine is currently working towards completing her education and, hopefully, expects to finish her training during the summer of 2027. Until then, her studies remain part of her professional education and personal development.
Why Chinese Herbalism?
There is something particularly fascinating about the way Traditional Chinese Medicine has developed an extensive understanding of food, plants and natural substances over thousands of years.
This perspective also connects naturally with our work surrounding TCM nutrition. At AcuClinic Cyprus, we are interested in how traditional principles can be understood within modern everyday life. This includes exploring the relationship between food, lifestyle, seasonal changes, digestion, energy and general wellbeing.
Jasmine's studies in Chinese herbalism add another dimension to this broader exploration. It allows her to gain a deeper understanding of one of the traditional systems that has influenced Chinese approaches to natural health for centuries.
Combining Different Traditions
AcuClinic Cyprus brings together several different complementary approaches. Jasmine's background in classical homeopathy and her developing knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism represent two different traditional systems, each with its own history, philosophy and approach.
We believe that these traditions can be explored respectfully without suggesting that they are identical or that one needs to replace another.
Our focus is on understanding different approaches and maintaining a responsible, individualised attitude towards complementary wellbeing. This is particularly important to us because every person is different.
The Future of AcuClinic Cyprus
As Jasmine progresses through her studies, we look forward to sharing parts of her learning journey with our community.
There is no need to rush the process. Completing a professional education properly is more important than simply reaching the finish line quickly. The knowledge and understanding gained along the way are what ultimately matter.
If everything progresses according to plan, Jasmine hopes to complete her Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism education in summer 2027. Once her training is completed and when appropriate professional requirements have been fulfilled, we will be able to share more information about how this additional area of knowledge may become part of her work at AcuClinic Cyprus.
For now, we are simply very pleased to support Jasmine as she continues this exciting educational journey.
Ancient Knowledge, Continuous Learning
One of the things we appreciate most about Traditional Chinese Medicine is the depth of knowledge that exists within the tradition. There is always another concept to study, another relationship to understand and another perspective to explore.
For Jasmine, studying TCM Herbalism is therefore not simply about adding another qualification. It is part of a much longer journey of learning about natural approaches to health and the different ways traditional systems have understood the human body.
At AcuClinic Cyprus, we believe that this attitude of continuous learning is an important part of responsible professional practice.
Jasmine Lundberg's journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalism has only just begun. But we look forward to seeing where this journey leads — and to sharing more of it with you along the way.
