Our acupuncture treatment for motion sickness is designed to reduce symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and general discomfort during travel by car, boat, plane, or other forms of transportation. Fine acupuncture needles are placed on specific distal points that support balance, digestion, and the nervous system. This therapy works by calming the inner ear response, regulating stomach function, and restoring harmony between the body and brain. Many patients experience rapid relief and feel more stable and comfortable during movement. Treatments can also be administered preventively before travel to minimize symptoms. FOR BEST RESULTS A short treatment series or preventive sessions before travel are recommended for optimal results. For lasting and stable relief, a course of regular treatments is advised. FOR LONG-TERM SUPPORT For ongoing sensitivity to motion or recurring nausea, acupuncture can be combined with homeopathy, with remedies individually selected to strengthen balance, digestion, and the body’s ability to adapt to movement, providing deeper and longer-lasting support.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS All treatments at AcuClinic Cyprus Ltd must be booked in advance. This includes individual acupuncture sessions, homeopathy consultations, massage, and Qigong sessions. Some days we also offer Community-Style Acupuncture, which allows for drop-in participation; however, we still recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Appointments can be made online via our website or by contacting the clinic directly. CONFIRMATION All bookings are confirmed via email or SMS. Please check your confirmation carefully for date, time, and treatment details. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING • We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to offer the slot to other patients. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. • No-shows will be charged the full treatment fee. LATE ARRIVALS Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or rescheduling, depending on the remaining time available. Full fees apply for sessions that cannot be completed due to lateness. PAYMENT Payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept credit/debit cards and cash payments. Prepayment may be required for certain treatments or packages. TREATMENT PACKAGES Packages of multiple sessions must be used within the agreed validity period. Unused sessions beyond this period are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. HEALTH INFORMATION Please provide accurate health information prior to your treatment. Certain conditions may require consultation with a healthcare professional before receiving acupuncture, massage, or Qigong instruction. GENERAL POLICY AcuClinic Cyprus Ltd reserves the right to refuse treatment if the practitioner believes it may be unsafe.
