Service Description
Our 60-minute Gua Sha therapy uses traditional scraping techniques with a smooth tool to gently stimulate the skin and underlying tissue. This method enhances blood flow, encourages lymphatic drainage, and releases fascial tension, helping muscles, joints, and connective tissue regain mobility. The treatment is applied to areas such as the back, shoulders, legs, or other regions according to your individual needs. Benefits of Gua Sha Therapy: Relieves muscle stiffness, tension, and chronic pain; Improves blood circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues; Stimulates lymphatic drainage and supports detoxification; Reduces stress, nervous system tension, and promotes relaxation; Enhances fascia mobility, flexibility, and overall structural balance; After treatment, temporary red or purple marks may appear on the skin. These are normal, indicating increased circulation and tissue activation, and typically fade within a few days. OPTIONAL ADD-ONS Gua Sha can also be combined with massage or cupping therapies for deeper muscle release, enhanced circulation, and optimized energy flow.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS All treatments at AcuClinic Cyprus Ltd must be booked in advance. This includes individual acupuncture sessions, homeopathy consultations, massage, and Qigong sessions. Some days we also offer Community-Style Acupuncture, which allows for drop-in participation; however, we still recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Appointments can be made online via our website or by contacting the clinic directly. CONFIRMATION All bookings are confirmed via email or SMS. Please check your confirmation carefully for date, time, and treatment details. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING • We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to offer the slot to other patients. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. • No-shows will be charged the full treatment fee. LATE ARRIVALS Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or rescheduling, depending on the remaining time available. Full fees apply for sessions that cannot be completed due to lateness. PAYMENT Payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept credit/debit cards and cash payments. Prepayment may be required for certain treatments or packages. TREATMENT PACKAGES Packages of multiple sessions must be used within the agreed validity period. Unused sessions beyond this period are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. HEALTH INFORMATION Please provide accurate health information prior to your treatment. Certain conditions may require consultation with a healthcare professional before receiving acupuncture, massage, or Qigong instruction. GENERAL POLICY AcuClinic Cyprus Ltd reserves the right to refuse treatment if the practitioner believes it may be unsafe.
