A Gift That Will Always Remind Me Why I Chose This Profession

Sometimes the greatest reward isn't found in the treatment itself – but in the people whose lives you have the privilege to touch.

When I closed the doors of Meridia Holistisk Terapi AB in Sweden on 10 July 2026, after many wonderful years of meeting patients and sharing countless conversations, I expected the day to be emotional. What I didn't expect was how deeply touched I would be by the kindness and generosity of my patients.

Among the warm hugs and heartfelt conversations, I received a small wooden angel with a handwritten message:

"Thank you for all the needles, and good luck in Cyprus."

It may seem like a simple gift, but to me it represents something far greater. It represents trust, hope, and every conversation, every smile, every challenge we overcame together. And every patient who allowed me to become a part of their journey toward better health.

As healthcare professionals, we often focus on treatments, techniques and clinical outcomes. Those things are, of course, incredibly important. But over the years I have learned that healing is built on something even more fundamental:

Trust.

Every person who walks through the clinic door places their confidence in us. They share their concerns, their pain, their hopes and sometimes even their fears.

That trust is never something I take for granted.

Bringing Those Memories to Cyprus

This little angel has now become one of my most treasured possessions. It will have a special place in AcuClinic Cyprus. Not because it is a decoration, but because it reminds me every day why I chose this profession in the first place.

Every time I look at it, I will remember the incredible people I had the privilege to treat in Sweden. Although my clinic has moved to Cyprus, those memories will always travel with me.

A New Chapter, Built on the Same Values

Opening AcuClinic Cyprus is not simply about opening another acupuncture clinic. It is about continuing a philosophy that has guided me throughout my career. I believe that every patient deserves to be:

• listened to,

• treated with respect,

• given enough time,

• and cared for as an individual.

Whether someone visits the clinic for pain relief, stress management, digestive issues or general wellbeing, my goal remains exactly the same as it has always been:

To help people improve their quality of life naturally.
